We'll try an expecial and typical mango ice cream with salt and lemon wich one is including in the tour, and inside my Grandmother's home I will explain you everything about the painful past of la Comuna 13, and our personal histories like locals of la Comuna 13 as well. Then we will take the escalators that leads to the top of the mountain, and I will show you an amazing viewpoint to see all Medellin City, (here we will try more local food). Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. After we will go back to the meeting point to do the end of the tour.

Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. You will experience the joy of interacting with several adorable nigerian dwarf goats at our farm in Crosby, Texas. We are nestled in the woods and off the beaten path. Haremos diferentes salsas utilizando ingredientes de la temporada todo cocinado sobre comal, leña y brasas al carbón. El mole es un emblema de la cocina oaxaqueña y cocinaremos uno de los 7 moles utilizando el metate. No te puedes ir sin probar el mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves y un rico pastel. Todos participaran en los procesos, cortando, moliendo, elaborando salsas y por supuesto comiendo, recuerda cuando visitas una casa en Oaxaca tienes que venir con el estomago vacío. The tour starts at the middle of the afternoon at the pier in Urca near to Bar urca. We will sail by the Fortress of São João, Fortress Laje and Fortress Santa Cruz, and close to the Island of Boa Viagem in Niterói. There will be one stop point at Adão e Eva beach or Praia Vermelha, perfect for picture taking and if you are interested to swim! Then we will pass by the Museum of Contemporary Art and sail back with the amazing view of the sunset on the horizon. There are gorgeous views of Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer throughout the ride, as they are central to the scenery of Rio's coast. Mate is much more than an infusion for Argentines. Mate is about sharing and making friends. Mate is ritual, it is intimacy and family. It has a specific way of preparing it that comes from the natives of these lands and it is done in the form of a ritual. We invite you to be part of a mate ritual, just like we do every day. We will gather around a table to begin the mate ritual. With an introductory talk, we will tell you about the origin of mate, the legends about mate and what it means for Argentines through our personal experiences. Next, we will provide you with all the necessary elements to prepare a good mate, we will explain how the mate is prepared, all the specific rules that are followed in the mate rituals, as well as the different variations it contains. Then we will get to work, each one preparing their own mate, under our supervision and accompaniment. Then you will have a mate prepared by yourselves. We are going to try different types of mate, mate with herbs, sweet mate, cooked mate and even tereré. Always accompanied by the typical Argentine biscuits that we accompany with mate. *Many times a friend of the house delights us with live piano or guitar music. Anything can happen!!!

Behold the stunning beauty of the petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua formed thousands of years ago by the runoff of calcium carbonated water. A unique place where you can walk on impressive rock formations and even swim in the natural spring fed pools. Fully guided in both ENGLISH and Spanish. This is the perfect way to visit Hierve el Agua in a SMALL group, hike around the formations and relax at the pools WITHOUT the addition of UNNECESSARY stops to actually see the place up and down with no rush. We'll meet in downtown Oaxaca. Then, we´ll begin our journey to Hierve el Agua (1:30 hr. drive [70 km]). Once we arrive, we´ll start the hike to the petrified waterfalls, go to the most amazing viewpoints, hike down to the base to it from below and appreciate its stunning beauty. We´ll continue the hike and come back up to spend some time relaxing in the natural pools where you can dip your feet or even go for a full body dive. We´ll finish off trying delicious food at a local eatery in the site before driving back to Oaxaca. La Clase de Cocina Oaxaqueña Vegetariana, haremos un recorrido por un hermoso barrio tradicional de Oaxaca, te prestare un “chiquigüite y mandil” ocupado para ir al mercado tradicionalmente, haremos un recorrido por el barrio de la Merced, pasaremos pos las iglesias más bonitas y caminaremos por parques reguardados por bellos arboles, casas de cantera rosa, verde y amarilla, te mostraré parques bellos del barrio colonial y secretos de esta zona de la ciudad. A mitad de nuestro recorrido conoceremos unos productores de hortalizas y verduras orgánicas frescas de un pueblo cercano a la ciudad cultivado orgánicamente y cosechado por la mañana, posteriormente visitaremos a algunas productoras del mercado del barrio, probaremos algunos antojitos y compraremos algunos insumos para nuestra clase de cocina vegetariana oaxaqueña. Regresaremos a nuestro punto de inicio para comenzar la clase y brindar toda la información de nuestro menú, prepararemos todo fresco, un plato fuerte, una ensalada, agua y hasta un postre y todo cuidado por un fogón tradicional. Compartiremos la comida y daremos gracias a la madre tierra y a todos los presentes.
