Upon arrival you will take a tour of the sanctuary, I will explain the daily routine and you will meet the animals and learn about their care and how they came to reside here. You will learn about their lives in factory farms and other trends that have caused them to end up in sanctuaries. You will then have the opportunity to interact with them one on one. Other things to note You will be able to interact with the animals, however if you are not comfortable with that you can view them through a fence

You'll meet at the location and come in for a drink (BYOB also available) and have a seat at the candle making table. Your instructor will begin teaching you how the make a soy candle in an 8oz tin. After choosing your scents and creating a custom scent, you will then choose crystal chips to add to the top. Your candle must sit for a hour before departing with it. This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Instead, if you want to experience our hometown, our cenotes, having adventures, talk to us, share stories and making new friends while getting to know about our project, then you have found the perfect experience for you. We will sail on canoe through the most conserved channels of Xochimilco wetland. During the tour, we will tell you about the history of the place and its importance to the sustainability of Mexico City. In your way, you will recognize the biological richness like birds, snakes, frogs and plants. We will arrive at a chinampa where you can get your hands dirty experiencing the ancestral technique of cultivation and discovering why it is considered a world heritage. Also, you will get involve in the diary activities in the chinampa like crop irrigation, harvest or seeding. Before going back to land, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peace of the place. This is a cultural tour that helps to promote the community development.

Mi hijo Baldo compartirá su conocimiento acerca del mezcal, una cata en la cual podrás tomar degustar tanto como gustes, además de agua fresca, refrescos y jugos. Botanas? Claro que si, pero lo tienes que hacer al estilo oaxaqueño, lo que significa gusanos, chicatanas y chapulines. ¿Has escuchado algo sobre el metate y como se hacen las tortillas a mano? además de tortillas elaboraremos tetelas, memelas y tlayudas. Haremos diferentes salsas utilizando ingredientes de la temporada todo cocinado sobre comal, leña y brasas al carbón. El mole es un emblema de la cocina oaxaqueña y cocinaremos uno de los 7 moles utilizando el metate. No te puedes ir sin probar el mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves y un rico pastel. Todos participaran en los procesos, cortando, moliendo, elaborando salsas y por supuesto comiendo, recuerda cuando visitas una casa en Oaxaca tienes que venir con el estomago vacío. On Sundays the markets ARE SHUT so on this tour we will visit a taverna and eat traditional Athenian food and go to a spice shop and a honey and olive oil producer to taste these amazing products! We will enjoy a fantastic deli with a cured meat and cheese tasting and also sample Greek coffee and fruits from a local producer. Many tastings offered including sit down meals of meat and fish on all our tours, as you learn about Greek culture from people who live it daily. We meet in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and we take a public bus to Mismaloya, a beautiful town 25 minutes south from Vallarta. At the beach we embark the boat to start our journey to ​​Los Arcos: 5 beautiful islands in a protected natural area and a sanctuary for birds! In the incredible caves we will learn about the fauna of the natural reserve, among others the great variety of birds who nest on the islands. Afterwards, the captain will take us to a special and safe area where we can snorkel and learn about the great variety of marine fauna that inhabits the coral.
