My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. This gorgeous cottage felt like a true home away from home—so thoughtfully appointed, cozy, and full of charm. Every little nook was a discovery, and it’s clear that the owners poured much love and care into creating a space that invites rest, warmth, and rejuvenation. We especially loved the hot tub under the stars and the nightly call of a great-horned owl—pure magic. The outdoor spaces were sweet and serene, and the upstairs bathroom was an absolute revelation. Between the beautiful tub and the massage chair, it felt like a private sanctuary. The fireplaces, historic touches, and overall sense of quietude made our stay incredibly special. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that feels both grounding and enchanted.

My stay at the cottage was such a nice way to ring in my 31st birthday. I booked the house 5 days before our stay due to our initial airbnb reservation falling through the cracks and I am so glad it did in hindsight. This place had everything you could ask for, a hot tub, indoor fireplace, in close proximity to Woodstock, comfy beds + hangout areas. Overall our stay was so peaceful and everything we were looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to book your stay!

We had a great stay. Lots of hikes. Star gazing from the hot tub was fabulous!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Mike's place - It was perfectly cozy with an amazing hot tub and very usable kitchen. We had to reset the breakers one time and Craig was incredibly responsive in helping us. Checkin and checkout times were made flexible for us, which we greatly appreciated. Would love to come back soon!

Beautiful spot for a rural retreat! Bennington is not far and offers all you might need.

This was by far one of the best places I stayed on Airbnb, the property was absolutely stunning with the snow and fog above the mountains. They have everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The indoor fireplace is beautiful and plenty of wood was provided. The hot tub and fire pit in the snow with the Mountain View is unbeatable. There is a lot of space to go sledding, hiking, and if you bring a furry friend along, they are going to LOVE running around the massive yard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, this was an amazing stay by all means.

We ate most meals on the deck admiring the lake and scenery. Most hot days at the lake, jumping off the floating dock, swimming and kayaking the beautiful lake. Most cool nights in the hot tub. Beautiful lake and close to many places (Saratoga, Lake George). Kids really enjoyed the lake, floating dock and hot tub as well as playing darts on the deck. Tinney’s Tavern nearby had great food and was an easy walk. Nice hiking trail nearby. Joan was easily accessible for any questions that arose.

I booked Nidhi's place for one night for myself and a guest to attend a show at Bearsville. The placement of everything, inside and outside, created an intentional sense of comfort. My guest arrived after me - without a thought, we ended up at the kitchen table talking for hours before the show. Again, the placement of this conversation spot felt intentional, but only after we found ourselves engaged in it. The outdoor surroundings are utilized to not only accent, but to enhance the indoor setting. The whole experience felt private and safe, and allowed us to share a really precious window of time for reconnection and decompression. In addition to the appealing aesthetics (the chosen blue for that kitchen!), the bedding was a treat to come back to at the end of the night - so inviting and equally comforting to find yourself wrapped up in in the morning. Nidhi so kindly messaged me out of concern for the very high winds we were experiencing (prepared with a generator), but no issue.

Brian was an amazing host. The cozy cabin was exactly what my husband and our dog needed. It was a last minute weekend getaway. So happy the home was available. Extremely clean. Kitchen completely furnished with all items you could possibly use. The bathroom was so adorable and the shower pressure was amazing. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. We loved the stereo on the top of the fridge we had it on every time we were in the home. There was a TV but we didn’t watch it. Internet and cell service was excellent. The wood stove was a favorite. Especially the night we had the (so called) snow storm. We didn’t get much snow. Brian made sure the driveway and steps were plowed. There were nice breweries close by. Chief breakfast diner was very good. The garage was where we spent both nights playing ping pong, darts and fuzz ball. One thing we would have loved in the garage… A heater, it was chilly but still had a blast!! Our dog LOVED running around the yard. AMAZING TIME! Thank you!!!

Adorable cottage absolutely ideal for unplugging and relaxing

A perfect spot to get away for the weekend. First, the view out the front door is top notch. Situated at just the right distance from town, we were able to hike, explore and eat well, and then easily head back to the Airbnb for some R&R. The area was peaceful, the beds were amazing, and the bathroom was fully stocked if we forgot anything. We checked out Saugerties Lighthouse to stretch our legs after travel. We loved breakfast at Josie’s, dinner at Miss Lucy’s and The Dutch, and ice cream at Sawyer’s. We explored some spots on the Hudson River School Art Trail: The Thomas Cole National Historic Site, Kaaterskill Falls, Platt Cove Preserve, and Falling Water Preserve. A perfect Catskills Airbnb that is dog friendly to boot! 10/10.

My friends and I had a great time at Stephen’s place. Stephen responded to any inquiries we had almost instantaneously and plowed the driveway for us in the morning when it snowed. The house was very cozy but it did get a bit cold in some of the rooms at night even with the thermostat increased but the weather outside was also unnaturally cold in the days we stayed so it wasn’t that huge of an issue. We also had a bit of an issue with ants in one of the rooms but getting rid of them wasn’t that hard. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back in the summer to get use out of the pool and beautiful backyard!!

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The host was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location couldn’t be better—it’s conveniently situated near popular attractions and local eateries, making exploration a breeze. The description of the place was spot on; it truly matched our expectations. The space was very cozy, providing the perfect environment for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. The thoughtful touches throughout the property added to our comfort.

I really loved the layout. We were 3 with my elderly mom and even without her I’d prefer to have a single floor layout that keeps temperature stable, less walking up down stairs. Sauna great, WiFi was perfect, furniture layouts open and roomy, living room furnace kept living room toasty, 2 bathrooms!!!, electrical outlets by the bed, by every table top, hdmi cable ready to be plugged in so you can watch anything from computer, duvets super comfy and warm, night light in the corridor, firepit ready to go - a lot of intuitive details that I always get slightly annoyed by were all figured out here and I really appreciate that. And fact that I didn’t have to empty trash or take it with me or unmake the bed was heavenly.

We had a wonderful stay at Bear Cottage. The house accommodated our family of four, with each of us in our own private bedroom and sharing two full bathrooms. We especially enjoyed lounging on the front porch, just off main street and an easy walking distance to all the stores in town as well as a nice local hike (Tanbark Loop). We also enjoyed the backyard, which was spacious enough for lawn games and included a nice fireplace.

My girlfriends and I chose to come up for a girls weekend. This place was so peaceful and relaxing. There was nothing better than starting our morning on the deck with a coffee and good book. We fortunately had the best weather and spent most of our time on the lake with the provided paddle boards and kayaks. When we came back to the cabin it was so well stocked it was easy to prepare food, and the host was so proactive we knew where to find everything. We had the most beautiful weekend!

I stayed at Rachel’s place for a month , the wooded private location made this ideal for getting away and having peace and quiet and serenity. The cottage was cozy and perfect for a couple or small family . There are local restaurants and a cute town about 8 mins away , great food also . At night the sky is Soooo clear most days and you can see every single star in the sky unlike the city . It’s great for people that enjoy nature , and rustic lifestyles . January was pretty brutal so if you don’t like cold weather don’t come in January lol . Rachel was very accommodating and pleasant to interact with . I would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend! We came to visit our daughters at Skidmore; perfect location! The cottage is beautiful and perfect for my wife and I, Kim and Ray were wonderful, friendly hosts!

The house was absolutely perfect and was exactly as advertised. Catherine did an amazing job with all the personal touches to the house that made us feel right at home and was super responsive. We would definitely rent her place again. Thank you!!!

Loved staying at Andy’s place! We came for a ski weekend at Windham, and it was an easy 20 mins away. It was private and beautiful. We instantly felt at home the night we arrived surrounded by snow, and playing the record player. We wanted to allot time to relax and read at the house rather than keep snowboarding because it felt so relaxing! It was nice and private for our dogs as well. Would definitely recommend. Artsy, fun, & cozy.

Megan’s place was perfect for our trip back to upstate. We left the air bnb wishing we could just live there as it was perfect for our family. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future

Mustafa's cottage is an absolute gem. The location is dreamlike, across the river, by a Tibetan retreat center, a few miles from the Emerson and Phoenicia diner and not far from Woodstock and Saugerties. The cottage itself is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated and extremely cosy. The bed and linen are exceptionnally comfortable. One of the best airbnb's we've had in the area. Thank you Mustafa!
