The apartment was Spotless and very comfortable for the our party of 4 adults. The host kindly arranged for us to be able to check in before 4pm which was very helpful as we could drop all our bags and go and organise our ski rental etc. The town is a 10 minute walk and the bus stop just 5mins down the hill where you can pick up all the buses up for all the various lifts. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for well needed baths etc after a days skiing! The Kitchen has all you need and the sitting area is adequate. We tried linking the TV to our phones for a film but had difficulty as it didn’t seem to be connected to the wifi. On the whole a very clean, tidy modern and functional apartment perfect for a week’s stay.

Appartement très bien placé mais difficile d’accès car toute la rue était en travaux … il aurait été préférable de nous prévenir sachant que nous étions avec une femme enceinte. Mais sinon le logement est conforme et la communication c’est très bien passé.

Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Chalet, mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man für eine Woche braucht. Der Kleine fand vor allem den Garten toll, wo es einiges zu entdecken gibt. Sitzmöbel sind um das Chalet herum verteilt, so dass man immer Sonne tanken kann. Durch die Baustelle im Ort war die Logistik etwas kompliziert, aber da können die Gastgeber nichts für. Die Kommunikation war freundlich, hilfsbereit und zügig.

Le Bartavel Apartment, Skiing, Chamonix All Year

Location, location, location!! The apartment was perfect for our skiing trip to Chamonix. There are incredible views from the living room and sundeck with nice bedrooms and private bathrooms. The apartment was well appointed and only a few steps away from the cobble stone streets of the old town. Fresh bread, pastries, and groceries were only steps away with the full choice of restaurants, shops, and nightlife at your fingertips. Listening to the church bells in the morning while sipping coffee, scanning the peaks, and watching the town wake up was the total experience that made you feel like a local. We would defiantly recommend this place and already looking forward to our return.

Super hote , bel acceuil , tres bien recu , chalet magnifique et bien situé . Tres cosy et bien chauffer . Hote tres attentionner , sympathique . Chalet a 6min du lac leman , a 1h dannecy et 1h30 de chamonix , 20min station la plus proche pour skier et la moin chere , thollon les menises Nous recommandons fortement les yeux fermer . Nous sommes de Lille , coup de coeur pour la ville Armoy 😉

Nice chalet for 2 ideally located

One of the most magical Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The chalet is nestled right at the base of the mountains—stepping outside to views of glaciers and peaks was absolutely breathtaking. It’s cozy and best suited for a couple, which was perfect for us. About a 10-minute walk from downtown Chamonix, with a bit of an uphill on the way back—but honestly, the walk is beautiful and a great leg stretch. Valerie and Nicholas were wonderful—so kind, flexible, and communicative. We’d absolutely love to stay here again!

Väldigt bra lägenhet med perfekt läge. Nära både till närmsta skidbacken och nära till bussarna till andra skidområden. Bra sängar, rent och fräscht med bra utrustning. Perfekt för oss som var tre vuxna. Lägenheten ligger perfekt i relation till gågata och stadskärnan. Tacksam för flexibiliteten då vi kunde checka in tidigt och checka ut sent. Återkommer gärna till denna lägenhet!

Ruhig gelegene Wohnung, gut ausgestattet, auch in der Küche fehlte uns nichts, nette Vermiterin, gute Kommunikation, super schöne Aussicht vom Jacuzzi auf der Terasse, darf immer genutzt werden. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Le Grenier des Hottes

We found the house fairly easily. Sandrine was accommodating after we arrived late due to Eurotunnel delays the day before. The house was lighter and brighter than in the photos and was very prettily decorated with lovely Alpine things- even Christmas decorations which was lovely. It was all very clean, tidy, modern and warm. I had possibly misread the room descriptions because the third bedroom is an alcove in the upstairs hall and not a bedroom with a door. My teen daughter was upset and then had an argument with her brother about who had the room with the door but as he is too tall for the junior bunk bed she ended up with it and it was fine. We very much enjoyed our stay. There is a fondue dish and a raclette set which was great. We were worried about being snowed in but the snowplough was out at 5.30am. The house is near a main road so there was a very small amount of road noise. Sandrine and Yann are friendly and helpful - thank you very much.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement de Lidwine. La maison était propre, bien équipé et idéalement situé à proximité de trois stations de ski. La vue depuis le logement était tout simplement magnifique ! Lidwine est une hôte accueillante et réactive. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

This place exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect getaway. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, ensuring we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough—whether you're here for adventure or relaxation, it’s the perfect choice for anyone visiting the area!
