Just spent a restful few days at the caravan at the keep. Virginia was a wonderful host and the caravan was a cosy, peaceful and charming place to stay. The views are breathtaking and there’s everything you could need for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the peace and tranquility. I would highly recommend a stay to anyone wanting to visit the area

Lovely spot that was perfect for our family. Views from nearly every side over rolling hills (very peaceful), easy walk to town and nearby trails to hike. Wasn’t far at all to places like Kielder Forest, Hadrians Wall or even Newcastle. As we stayed over Christmas, the hosts decorated the house to really make us feel at home! Would definitely stay again.

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful location to celebrate my dads 60th birthday & we wish we could have stayed longer. Julie had thought of everything you could need and more, the place was faultless! Julie was very helpful & always responded to any messages promptly! The location was beautiful, amazing views and very peaceful, perfect for anyone who enjoys going on walks. Thank you for making our celebrations even better!

A beautiful lodge with the luxury of a hot tub and private sauna! Even when the weather wasn’t perfect, the big windows made you still feel like you were sat in nature even when indoors with the lovely trees around. A great kitchen space too. Enjoyed it so much we organised a later check out with Ben (who was really responsive). Would definitely go back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy retreat! The sound of the stream flowing nearby was incredibly calming and added to the serene atmosphere. The space was clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil setting!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HOME! This is probably the BEST place we have ever stayed in with Airbnb. The house we spotless and everything was so well provided for. They even had hot chocolate for kids and really good coffee options for adults, pasta, rice, so many canned food options and oats and what not. Fully stocked kitchen! For kids, they had lots of toys and books. The kids room was the highlight - they had really amazing books nicely laid out as well as a wonderful very clean kitchen set for kids to play with. It really felt like we have just walked right in our home. The playground was the cherry on top. Kids loved climbing and swinging. They even had bubble sets and outdoor playset for the kids and a BBQ set for those who wish to try their hand at BBQ. Can't recommend them enough. Our family of 8 had a great stay and we loved every minute of it. Wished we stayed longer here. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Edinburgh!

Fantastic place to stay, easy access to local sights etc. The accommodation was like home from home, had everything needed and was very clean. The log burner was well used during our stay and without doubt we will be rebooking for the summer. A truly great place to stay.

Just back from a really lovely stay, Lea’s place is spotlessly clean in beautiful surroundings. We had such a great time walking around the area and chilling in the hot tub. Lovely little touches, like the coffee machine, ice machine and we really enjoyed playing the board games too. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
