Had a lovely stay in Sherborne with my mum. Amelia was very helpful to my mum when she arrived and explained how everything worked. Lovely comfortable beds and nice and peaceful location but extremely walkable to town! Lovely touch to provide bread, juice and milk! We really appreciated the late check out! Thank you!

Ildiko was a friendly and welcoming host who made me feel at home. She has a beautiful home with her lovely artwork, tasteful decor and stunning photographs by Daniel. The house was absolutely spotless and it was nice to make and eat my meals in their kitchen and dining room from where there is a wonderful view of the Tamar Bridge. Ildiko also helped me plan buses and trains . Thank you Ildiko and Daniel for sharing your home with me.

We booked Chloe's house as a base for our engineers who were working in the area for the month. Communication was fantastic and Chloe made everything so easy. The house itself was so comfortable and homely and had everything our engineers needed. Thanks Chloe

We had a lovely stay at Georgie's peaceful and well thought out little retreat. A gorgeous getaway in the most stunning location; we enjoyed soaking up the sea views from the beautifully maintained garden, and exploring the coastal walks from the property. Georgie is a perfect host, kind and helpful. I really enjoyed our chat over breakfast.

My second stay with Rosemarie. Once again, everything was spot on. Lovely, friendly host, great communications and a good night’s sleep.

We were so lucky to find this beautiful and peaceful place. The location is graat, we could wast reach both seaside and the Dartmoor park by car. The room and facilities weregreat with all we needed and a beautiful view to the garden. We loved sleeping there, so calm and comfy, and we were laughing that we need to go back to get some really good sleep again))) Also Fi and Richard are great and friendly hosts! We would strongly recommend their place for anyone traveling in Devon.

Had a wonderful stay at the property, the accommodation was perfect. Unfortunately it was only for one night, would have loved to stay longer. Plenty of room and facilities for the both of us but could easily accommodate 4. Great recommendations for eating out, we ate at old fire station, it was superb. Thanks Andrew for your smashing home, I hope we'll return soon

Rie’s Retreat is magical. I, how the retreat for 10 women here, and it was idyllic. Her home is spacious, beautiful, peaceful and full of space to reflect and connect, including the most beautiful gardens with dozens of different flowers growing. Her space is filled with positive energy, you can feel the healing powers on the land. And Rie is incredible! First, she is so friendly, personable, and fun! She is also so helpful about everything you need, whether it’s recommendations for activities, or transportation or grocery shopping. She is also an incredible chef, and I highly recommend having her cook your meals for you, as she will make you feel so well fed, pampered, and taken care of. Her meals are healthy and delicious! Even her healthy continental breakfast and snacks are amazing! We all loved the space and the beauty. It’s so close to town and to all Glastonbury sites. I will definitely bring groups of women back here, as Rie is now a friend and sister to us all.

I have stayed in a few holiday rentals in Newton Abbot town visiting my daughter but you would struggle to find a better place for privacy and close to town location than Mike and Anna's. 100% on my return list. D Rogers

Very spacious accommodation, with a wonderful view. Very thoughtful catering supply of cereal, coffee and croissants. Wifi and TV easily managed. Bathroom and shower excellent. Exceptional garden and grounds - we saw a deer up in the woods. Bird lovers will be entertained from dawn to dusk. Lyme Regis and coast thirty minutes drive, and beautiful countryside walks just steps away. Christina is a perfect hostess, never intrusive and always available.

We had an excellent stay at Kairen’s and Phil’s. They were very accommodating about our late arrival and helpful to assist in finding the place in the dark. The accommodation was perfect for us, very homely , cosy and peaceful to get back to at the end of a busy day. The kitchen was well-equipped and pleasant to cook in. We are very likely to return on a future visit to the South West.

We had a lovely time and the beautiful grounds felt magical in the sunshine. We had a free upgrade to the duck house which was really cosy and homely. Jo was so helpful and welcoming and we definitely want to come back. It is also a perfect location with Bridport and Charmouth beach only 10 mins away by car.

This apartment is amazing and you will love your stay -here are some tips that might help 😊 At the apartment: 🪟The rooms have blinds behind the curtains -useful for kids. 🧯Incense or sage burning must use the bowl on top of the fireplace (obvious safety) & by opening the patio doors or the fire alarm will activate. The living room sensor deactivates by pushing the central button with the long stick by the entrance. The hallway’s one stops if aired with a cushion & by opening the bathroom window (air flow). 👩‍🍳When cooking, opening the kitchen window avoids the above. 🕉️ Mediate in the patio -it’s a truly magical place. In town: 🛒Co-op on the high street is convenient but expensive. However, if you leave the apartment and turn right into St Mary’s Walk, there’s a large Morrisons. 🥩If you turn left, the butchers next to the Crown pub has amazing meat at great £ Must visit: 🛐St Magdalene’s chapel 💞White Spring Temple (Yang) ☯️Challice Well (Ying) May your stay be as blessed a ours was! 🙏🏼

A great stay at this gorgeous accommodation. Everything we needed, ample parking, goodies on arrival and just a short walk into the lovely town. Hosts were welcoming and informative, but we're not in the least bit intrusive. The massive super king bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities needed for a short stay including an air fryer and Nespresso coffee maker- complete with ample pods. Super 60 inch smart tv complete with firestick. Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely like to return soon. Thank you Julia and Julian 🙂👍

This was a lovely quiet place to stay. High finish decor. If this place was on C4’s Four in a Bed, it’ll be the one place that receives over payments. It great value.

Lovely location, and well-equipped has everything you need. Great communication before arriving with directions, etc, and on arrival an explanation of where everything was. Fridge filled with everything for a full breakfast and some milk, really well thought out. The property is in a very quiet rural location, but only 15 minutes to Newton Abbot. Great place to stay.

Beautiful location. Perfect for exploring the Tors. Your hosts will be fabulous storytellers. Good breakfast and tea making facilities.

Highly highly recommend! Lizzie's attention to detail made this the perfect base for our weekend exploring the Dart. The bedroom couldn't be more comfortable; homely with all the ameities. Wide selection and generous portions for breakfast accompanied by lovely chat and local tips!

Staying with Diana was an absolute dream- so easy to find, right in the middle of town, a comfortable, cosy spot with easy access to the sights and delights of Glastonbury.

Very nice place to stay. Jenny provided me excellent breakfast as well. Free cake&biscuits, plenty of choices of tea coffee with fresh milk in the fridge. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Rachel is such a graceful host. Always friendly and helpful and it was so wonderful quite. I haven't slept that well in ages.

We loved staying at Belinda's, it couldn't have been a nicer experience. The location was perfect, rural and quiet but close to public transport. Dartington Hall is a lovely walk. Belinda communicated clearly and quickly. Well worth the value!

I stayed at Polly’s as I was swimming in an event that weekend. It is extremely well located for the town and the river, and a cosy room. Polly produced breakfast for me (very nice too, hadn’t read this in the description!), and was very welcoming. Good wifi despite the thick stone walls of the old building. Do note there are steep stairs up to the room! Also, there is no TV but a wonderful little cinema in the town.

Camilla and Christopher made us feel very welcome, really good company. It was really lovely to sit in front of the fire and feel at home. Great breakfast and came for a walk with us before leaving to let our dog and theirs have a good run. Lovely hosts.
