Visit local streets and see, taste and shop for cheese, cured meat, fruits, sweets and spices in the markets full of colour, scents and noise. Sample olives, oil and honey from a farmer and local barrel wine made on the tavernas premises. On tours starting at 3.00pm , the fish and meat market are starting to close so we go quickly to see as much as possible. On Sundays and weekly tours starting after 3.30pm markets ARE SHUT so on this tour we will visit a taverna and eat traditional Athenian food and go to a spice shop and a honey and olive oil producer to taste these amazing products! We will enjoy a fantastic deli with a cured meat and cheese tasting and sample Greek coffee and fruits from a local producer.
